What is Sleek vs. Fierce in your Merch Line

We use these terms in honor of particular drag styles and reflects our design objective in each merch item

Fierce refers to products that have more complicated designs or features. Intricate details, bold colors, and flamboyant elements often characterize these products. They are designed to make a statement and stand out from the crowd. Fierce products are often associated with extravagant and glamorous drag performances, where performers aim to captivate the audience with their larger-than-life personas and show-stopping costumes.

On the other hand, sleek refers to products that have simpler designs and are less complicated. These products are characterized by clean lines, minimalistic aesthetics, and a more understated elegance. Sleek products are often associated with a more refined and polished drag aesthetic, where performers focus on highlighting their natural beauty and showcasing their impeccable style.

Both fierce and sleek are terms commonly used in drag vocabulary to describe different styles and aesthetics. While fierce products are all about making a bold and extravagant statement, sleek products emphasize simplicity and sophistication. Whether a drag performer chooses to embrace a fierce or sleek style, it ultimately comes down to personal preference and the desired impact they want to create on the stage.

We have used these particular names in our merch line to connote the same kind of aesthetic.
